Fiber Arts

From a young age Julia has been inspired by fiber arts and textiles. Starting with handmade antique dolls as a child to working in luxury fashion later in life, textiles have always peaking a curiosity to create, mend and sew. In 2013 Julia launched her first bouqitue, MADA, curating a selection of independent designers with sustainability at the forefront. In 2020 she opened a new version of her brand, MADA STUDIO, where she taught textile design and fiber arts. Currently she is working on Fiber and Textile pieces as fine art and can be seen working out of her Studio in North Carolina.
