Website Migration
Take control of your website.
If you need better control of your website design and content, and a platform that will grow with your company, we can convert your current website to the Squarespace platform. It's a subscription-based Content Management System (CMS) tool we use for this site, and what we recommend for clients who operate "brochure" or portfolio sites and need to be in control of their site content without a big development team.
We aren't affiliated with Squarespace, we just happen to think it's a great tool. The Squarespace CMS comes with built in widgets including blogs, picture galleries, site search, and on-the-fly form creation. The design is totally customizable through a beautiful GUI (graphic user interface). Since Squarespace is modular, it allows you to grow your site structure easily and as often as you want.
For basic websites (under 20 templates) we offer a special service to recreate your existing website in Squarespace, which includes:
- Migrating over all your existing site content to the new site.
- Formatting Squarespace templates and stylesheets to match your existing website design.
- Redirecting legacy URLs to the new site pages (to preserve traffic and SEO).
- Recreating any basic forms within Squarespace.
- Image gallery implementation (if applicable).
- Migrating Blog content (from an existing blog like Wordpress, Typepad, or Blogger)
- Integrating Google Analytics
- A full tutorial of Squarespace so you can be fully in control of your website content for future growth.
